Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety is hiring a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist in Show Low and Winslow, AZ. This full-time, on-site role requires responding to allegations of child abuse, conducting safety assessments, and coordinating services with families in their homes and communities.

You'll work with courts and partner agencies, attend hearings, and prepare reports while progressing through a documented wage scale and training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution or 4 years as an Arizona DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Background in child safety and ability to pass required trainings.
• Complete 22-week in-person classroom and field training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases within assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
