Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) seeks a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to respond to alleged abuse or neglect, conduct home interviews, and develop safety plans across Prescott and other Arizona communities. You’ll coordinate services, attend court hearings, and support placement needs in a 40-hour, on-site role.

You’ll work with families, collaborate with courts and providers, and maintain professional boundaries with empathy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory 39-month driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered
• Complete the 22-week in-person classroom and field training program

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety
• Work with families in their homes and in the community
• Coordinate services and develop case plans
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports
• Transport children and support placement needs
• Manage cases throughout assigned region
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies
