The Arizona Department of Child Safety in Tucson is hiring for a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site role in Tucson, requiring 40 hours weekly with potential alternate hours.

You will respond to allegations, interview families, assess safety, coordinate services, and attend court hearings while transporting children and collaborating with partner agencies. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or 4 years as Case Aide), valid driver’s license with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree earned from an accredited institution; OR 4 years as an Arizona DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record will be considered.
• Complete the 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training program.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases across assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
