Job summary

Raymond West is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales team in Fresno. You will act as the bridge between Raymond West and prospective customers, identifying needs and presenting material handling solutions.

You’ll generate leads, network with real estate and chambers, and collaborate with senior Account Managers to drive growth. The role involves outside field work with travel, requiring a valid driver’s license and willingness to pass pre-employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school preferred, or two years sales experience.
• Must be capable of engaging with customers and presenting solutions.
• Strong reading and interpretation of safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Make thirty cold-call contacts per day, for a minimum of three days per week.
• Identify business opportunities through various sources and networks.
• Generate sales leads via mail, email, campaigns and literature drops.
• Maintain and digitize the prospective customer database.
• Work with Marketing to develop new customers.
