Job summary

Factory Motor Parts Co. is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive Distributer/Fleet/New Car Dealer channel growth.

You will coordinate product offerings, deliver consistent marketing messages, and train both internal teams and customer accounts to improve service levels and profitability. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in automotive parts sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to develop business through cold calling and relationship building.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales experience within one or all of the Distributer/Fleet/New Car Dealer Automotive Parts industry.
• 2+ years of experience with routine Cold Calling of potential Distributer/Fleet/New Car Dealer clients to develop business.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing sales.
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to conduct business in a professional manner with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Position is primarily responsible FMP's value proposition for the Distributer/Fleet/New Car Dealer channels: coordination of product offerings, consistent marketing messages, development of appropriate customer service levels and both internal and external training.
• Attain Distributer/Fleet/New Car Dealer Channels accounts sales and GP% budgets and objectives through influence in a matrixed organization with regional sales managers.
• Understand channel opportunities in all regions and recommend strategic changes to capture opportunities.
• Train accounts on FMP's selling process.
• Develop sales tools or strategies to overcome obstacles and differentiate FMP's value proposition.
