Job summary

ACE Recycling & Disposal is seeking an Assistant Account Representative to join our Sales team in Utah. This field-based role requires extensive local travel across ACE's service areas and supports the Sales Manager and team by maintaining customer accounts and handling service-related projects.

You will build lasting relationships, resolve questions on container sizing, pricing, and service changes, and help develop new business opportunities while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred.
• Experience within a similar industry or service area is helpful.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based computer programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic math skills, including percentages, ratios, measurements, and estimated averages.
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Honest, dependable, confident, and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager and Sales team with daily responsibilities and special projects.
• Visit customer locations throughout ACE's service areas.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Help resolve customer questions and service concerns involving container sizing, placement, pricing, service changes, replacements, additions, and cancellations.
• Prepare accurate and complete service agreements and other sales documentation.
• Research potential customers and new business opportunities.
• Make sales calls, attend business and community functions, and promote ACE's services.
• Assist with pricing and service recommendations based on customer needs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance when representing ACE.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by the Sales Manager.
