Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is hiring a Protective Services Caseworker in a full-time, field-based role in Pennsylvania. You will help protect adults living with disabilities by detecting and addressing abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment, with a high degree of autonomy and regional travel.

Daily duties include investigations in residences, interviewing individuals, documenting findings, and developing service plans; coordinating services and managing cases to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if experience aligns
• Experience in service coordination, case management, or related roles preferred
• Ability to navigate emotionally challenging situations with compassion and resilience

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the region with a focus on Carbon, Schuylkill and Luzerne counties and surrounding areas
• Conduct investigations in residences
• Interview individuals and gather information
• Identify, mitigate, and eliminate risks to the individual
• Document findings and write reports
• Develop service plans, coordinating services, and managing cases to closure

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or a human service field
