Outlook Therapeutics, Inc. in Texas is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager to lead payer strategy and field reimbursement activities ahead of US product launch.

You will own a defined territory, build relationships with retina/ophthalmology practices and payers, and drive reimbursement readiness. The role requires deep Medicare/Medicaid knowledge, field experience, and strong communication skills. Travel 50–75% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in reimbursement/market access within pharma/biotech or related field.
• Experience navigating Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer coverage.
• Experience with benefit verification, prior authorization, claims support, and appeals processes.
• Experience using claims data to identify denial trends and coding barriers.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to build trust with office staff without promotional discussion.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field reimbursement resource for practices and clinical teams.
• Educate staff on payer coverage, coding, prior authorizations, and clean claims submission.
• Guide practices through prior-authorization and appeals processes with payer-specific requirements.
• Connect practices to patient-support resources when needed.
• Own a defined territory and build trust as the first call for reimbursement questions.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and analyze reimbursement performance and denials.
