Job summary

Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. is seeking an executive to lead Patient and Provider Support, providing national access and reimbursement strategies, and building scalable field reimbursement capabilities for upcoming Retina launches.

You will collaborate across Market Access, Trade & Distribution, Sales, Marketing and Finance to drive access and patient outcomes. You will lead large field-based teams, oversee patient services hubs, and ensure launch-readiness infrastructure with a focus on payer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years in patient services, market access, reimbursement, or related pharma/biotech functions.
• 10+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of government and commercial payers for specialty products.
• Experience building strategic patient access and field reimbursement capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute long-term provider reimbursement, patient access, adherence and hub program strategies.
• Lead and scale a team of Field Reimbursement Directors/Managers and Patient Services Hub Operations.
• Oversee marketing, tools and systems to ease reimbursement workflows and coordinate with corporate accounts.
• Oversee patient services and analytics to maximize access and outcomes.
• Monitor federal, state and commercial payer policies and coding requirements; ensure compliance.
• Partner with brand leadership to align FRM priorities and support product pull-through.
• Establish KPIs and analytics to tie team performance to patient outcomes.
• Drive innovative technology solutions, including AI opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Lead budget planning for field reimbursement, patient support programs and vendors.
