Job summary

Progressive Insurance in the United States is seeking an auto damage claims adjuster to serve as the primary point of contact with customers, guiding the repair process from start to finish. You’ll manage your own workload in the field and work closely with body shops to negotiate repair pricing and determine liability.

This field role includes a company car and frequent travel within the assigned PA territory, with occasional office reporting.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• Associate's degree plus three years relevant experience qualifies.
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections and write estimates.
• Negotiate repair with body shops.
• Document claim information and apply standards.
• Evaluate claim payments and resolve claims without payments.
• Review validity of any supplement requests.
