Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Field Assistant Superintendent in Texas to join a project team responsible for sequencing work with subcontractors and vendors and ensuring safe, timely execution. You may supervise laborers or direct a project segment with multiple crafts.

Ideal candidates will bring 0–3 years of relevant construction experience, a college degree in a related field, and familiarity with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit. Internship in commercial construction is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications
• Manage and motivate workforce while applying Beck Core Values
• Interact with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings
• Discern between high and unacceptable work quality
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and Beck safety policies
• Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes of work
• Participate in a project’s layout and field engineering
• Develop and maintain Daily Reports
• Identify Lean Construction Practices/Principles
• Follow direction and collaborate with team members
• Utilize Bluebeam basics
