Job summary

The Beck Group in Wisconsin seeks a Field Assistant Superintendent to help sequence work, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure project safety and quality across assigned scopes.

You will develop daily reports, learn Lean practices, and collaborate with Project Engineers on RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and record drawings. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in construction and a relevant degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of construction experience with a relevant degree or equivalent.
• Internship in commercial construction is a plus but not required.
• Fundamental understanding of construction documents and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications.
• Manage and motivate workforce while applying Beck Core Values.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Develop and maintain Daily Reports.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and participate in Lean practices.
• Assist with schedule development for respective scopes of work.
