Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a qualified Field Assistant Superintendent to join an extraordinary project team in Tampa. You will work with your project team to sequence work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure safe project execution and timely delivery.

As a Field Assistant Superintendent, you may supervise laborers or direct an assigned project segment. You will help develop daily reports, understand Lean Construction principles, and utilize Bluebeam in job workflows to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent education.
• Internship in commercial construction is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications.
• Manage and motivate workforce while applying Beck Core Values.
• Interact with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and Beck safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes of work.
