Job summary

The Beck Group in Atlanta is seeking a Field Assistant Superintendent to join an active project team. You will help sequence work with subcontractors and vendors and support safe, on-time project execution.

Ideal candidates bring 0–3 years of construction exposure or a related degree, a fundamental understanding of project documents, and experience with Excel, Procore and Bluebeam. Internship experience is valued; strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience.
• College graduate with a relevant degree, or experience as Field Foreman/Field Engineer with safety awareness and supervisory experience.
• Internship with a commercial construction company is preferred but not required.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents.
• Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications.
• Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes.
• Participate in project layout and field engineering; develop and maintain daily reports.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Follow Beck safety policies and procedures and collaborate with team members.
