Responsibilities

• Conduct phase one archaeological surveys including pedestrian surveys and shovel testing.
• Assist with excavation and trenching activities in Texas and surrounding regions.
• Document field data using tablets, GPS devices, and photo logs.
• Support preparation of reports and site documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with project leads to ensure accurate data collection and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in fieldwork with mentorship from crew chiefs.
• Communicate findings clearly to project managers and team members.
• Travel within Texas to other states as needed.
