Responsibilities include supporting reports and site documentation, collaborating with project leads, and traveling within Texas and to nearby states as needed. This temp role emphasizes fieldwork over benefits or long-term commitment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in anthropology or archaeology or related field.
• Experience with field surveys and site documentation is preferred.
• Ability to work in field conditions and travel within Texas and surrounding states.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct phase one archaeological surveys including pedestrian surveys and shovel testing.
• Assist with excavation and trenching activities as needed in Texas and surrounding regions.
• Collect and document field data using tablets and GPS devices; maintain photo logs.
• Support preparation of reports and site documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with project leads to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Travel within Texas and to Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas as required.
