Job summary

Moss is seeking an Apprenticeship Coordinator to support field operations across Texas, Florida, Colorado, or remote locations with up to 50% travel.

You will work with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to enroll apprentices, verify RTI/OJT, track progress, and ensure compliance; deliver courses and maintain records.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at least 2 years in apprenticeship coordination, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, workforce development, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of apprenticeship, workforce development, training coordination, or related experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with field operations in construction or skilled trades.
• Knowledge of utility-scale solar, construction trades, and apprenticeship regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and data tracking/reporting tools.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required, to communicate with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field leadership to identify and enroll eligible apprentices and journeyworkers.
• Ensure compliance with apprentice-to-journeyworker ratios on projects.
• Monitor journeyworker participation and mentoring responsibilities.
• Track RTI and OJT requirements and completion.
• Coordinate sessions for new apprentices and journeyworkers with program expectations and compliance.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend training opportunities.
• Maintain records of OJT, RTI, evaluations, and compliance documentation.
• Utilize program dashboards and digital tracking systems.
