Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager with strong electrical/controls background to lead field projects and support industrial gas detection systems. The role involves collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to design, program, test, and deploy automation solutions.

You will also mentor engineers, develop technical documentation, and deliver customer training while expanding product capabilities in real-world environments.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with installations, startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design activities for control architecture and automation strategies.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
• Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, and field support.
• Develop technical proposals, system documentation, and operating manuals.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate field service resources.
• Perform product testing, verification, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability.
• Train customers on system operation and best practices.
