Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Application Engineer for the UK & Ireland region. The role centers on on-site installations, comprehensive user training, and hands-on support for 3D printing systems.

You will travel extensively to customer sites, demonstrate the technology, and ensure customers are proficient with the equipment. Ideal candidates have a strong electromechanical background, fluent English, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• You are based in London/Manchester/Dublin and willing to travel 80%+.
• You have a strong electromechanical/hardware background and the ability to explain complex concepts.
• You are fluent in English (C1-C2) and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of on-site 3D printing systems at customer sites.
• Lead on-site user training and live demonstrations to ensure customer competence.
• Conduct rapid break-fix and preventive maintenance, aiming for single-visit resolutions.
