Job summary

Precision, Inc. is seeking a Midwest Field Applications Engineer to provide field engineering support for Precision products within the designated territory.

This full-time role emphasizes technical product performance, applications, and data gathering for quotes and PPI-Global products. The position requires domestic travel up to 50%, with some international travel, and collaboration with Product Engineering and Sales to deliver high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Two-year technical degree with three to five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and internal teams.
• Experience supporting field engineering tasks and customer-facing technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs within the assigned territory and product range, focusing on Industrial and Heavy Mining Conveyor products.
• Domestic travel required up to 50% with some international travel.
• Provide on-site surveys, technical product information, and training; perform root cause analysis and application engineering tasks.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering and Territory Sales to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Lead a team of 3-4 on-site personnel for Life Cycle management of products as contracted.
