Job summary

Precision, Inc. is seeking a Western Field Applications Engineer to provide field engineering support for our conveyor products within the assigned territory. The role involves remote work with 50% travel, primarily domestic.

The candidate will handle technical performance issues, apply product knowledge, and work with Sales Ops and Engineering to quote and develop PPI-Global products. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in the Engineering field from a four-year college or university
• A two-year technical degree with three to five years of related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs within the assigned territory and/or product range.
• Provide technical support over the phone for Sales Ops, especially when traveling.
• Lead on-site surveys, technical information, and training for conveyors and components.
• Conduct failure analysis and report for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering and Territory Sales for high-level customer service.
• Maintain safety compliance including required certifications and insurance.
