Job summary

Molex is seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer (FAE) to drive technical engagements with Infotech customers, promote new design wins, and resolve engineering barriers for Molex high-speed copper solutions within the Datacom & Specialty Solutions Unit.

You will partner with customer engineering and Molex teams to turn opportunities into designs, deliver compelling demos and proposals, and support sales by translating technical concepts into actionable customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the specified engineering/computer field.
• Minimum 3 years' engineering experience in electronics.
• Experience interacting with customers.
• Experience managing projects and prioritizing assignments.
• Experience in Optics, High-speed Copper Backplanes, PCIe or Signal Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engineering and Molex sales to secure design wins.
• Establish strategic technical relationships with key engineering contacts.
• Resolve technical issues for design-in of High Speed I/O and related connectors/cables.
• Propose innovative solutions using Molex portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product marketing and demos.
