Job summary

Molex is seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer (FAE) to lead technical engagements and remove barriers in designing Molex connectors, cables, and solutions for Infotech customers. You will drive design wins for high-speed copper products and develop relationships with customer engineering teams.

Responsibilities include resolving design-in issues with SI and reliability engineers, collaborating with product marketing, and delivering demos and technical papers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ engineering experience in electronics industry.
• Experience interacting with customers.
• Experience managing and leading projects and working independently.
• Experience in Optics, High-speed Copper Backplane, PCIe, Signal Integrity, Mechanical/Thermal Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with Infotech customers and promote design wins for high-speed copper products.
• Establish strategic technical relationships with customer engineering and SI contacts.
• Collaborate with customer development/process/reliability engineers to resolve design-in issues for High Speed I/O, Backplane, BTB, Storage Connectors, and Cables.
• Develop and present innovative solutions using Molex portfolio to customers.
• Create technical documents and application notes for customers.
• Coordinate demos and customer-facing presentations on technical concepts.
