Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a Field Application Scientist to support the Commercial team in the assigned territory. You will assist sales, sales development, and customer success initiatives for Wyatt Light Scattering and Aura instrumentation.

Based in a home office, you will conduct onsite seminars, training, and demonstrations, provide advanced troubleshooting and data analysis, and support post-sale activities to drive repeat sales while expanding product knowledge across biopharmaceutical and

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant work experience with HPLC and Light Scattering.
Knowledge of polymer and protein techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

Proactively develop new sales opportunities with onsite seminars and demonstrations.
Manage early-stage opportunities until technical close.
Provide master level application support during sales and post-sale visits.
Deliver training and customer success initiatives to drive repeat sales.
Develop deep application knowledge for biopharmaceutical and research markets.
Present technical papers at industry events and symposia.
Identify application solutions for high-value markets and transfer knowledge to product teams.
Maintain territory records and reports in Salesforce; travel up to 70%.
