Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Application Scientist to support clinical and forensic customers across pre- and post-sale activities. This role reports to the US Applications and Support Manager and offers field-based work with opportunities to become a trusted advisor to Waters customers.

Candidates should have strong LC-MS expertise, experience in endorsements across clinical diagnostics, and willingness to travel 50–75% across the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 1–2 years of related experience or M.S. with 3–5 years of LC-MS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with >5 years of LC-MS experience considered.
• Expert in LC-MS method development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Train and support customers with Waters LC/MS instruments remotely and on-site.
• Demonstrate Waters clinical solutions via sample analyses in demo labs.
• Support sales with technical expertise during joint visits and trade shows.
• Collaborate with service to analyze data and determine corrective actions.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify opportunities to advance labs.
