G&W Electric is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join the sales team. You will support regional sales with demonstrations, bid support, training, and customer engagement while collaborating with application engineers, product managers, and independent reps.

In this role you will help design custom solutions, prepare quotations, manage bids, and contribute to product documentation and CCNs, aligning technical and commercial requirements with company profitability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 2–3 years in an application engineering or similar role.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiar with customer management tools and CRM systems.
• Ability to multi-task, present well, negotiate, and write technical specs.

Responsabilidades

• Be the point person for the Regional Sales Team to provide support on existing products.
• Assist with quotation development, order spec review, and pricing guidance.
• Support technical and commercial aspects of bids and major quotes.
• Coordinate training for reps and customers and develop training materials.
• Develop custom solutions with sales to meet customer requirements and maintain profitability.
• Prepare technical papers and sales tools with Product Management.
• Host customer visits and participate in trade shows and meetings.
• Provide monthly reports on opportunities, VOC feedback, and market needs.
