Job summary

Wieland Electric North America seeks an Application Support Engineer to provide technical support and application expertise for our electrical connection products. You will work with customers, distributors, and internal teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support customized applications.

The ideal candidate has experience with electrical connectivity and installation applications across commercial/residential and building markets; industrial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or CET.
• 3-5 years in technical product/application support.
• Experience with electrical wiring and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by phone, web meetings, and email.
• Assist in product selection and application of connectors, cables, and blocks.
• Review customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Design and test applications per customer specs.
• Travel up to 15% for support and trade shows.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate with Sales.
