Job summary

NEFF Automation is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to design and bench-test integrated automation solutions. You will split time between customer sites and the office, delivering technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.

You will coordinate technical training, document projects, and communicate product capabilities, with travel up to 50% across WI, OH, PA, and MI.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of Robotics (UR, Kawasaki, Fanuc), and Machine Vision helpful.
• Knowledge of Motion Control, PLC/Ladder Logic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Split your time between customer sites and the office to design and bench-test integrated automation solutions.
• Provide technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Coordinate and schedule technical training for customers and sales personnel.
• Document all technical projects, i.e. customer’s pre-existing equipment/process, operating difficulties, proposals, design schematics and installation details
• Research technical information needed to evaluate product performance and application and maintain current product literature.
• Communicate product parameters and performance standards to ensure customers are informed of product capabilities.
