Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a reliable team member to locate, notify, and secure delinquent payments while also assisting with delivery and warehouse tasks. The role involves driving to customer sites, loading/unloading merchandise, and maintaining delivery records.

A valid driver's license and basic office experience are required. Ideal candidates will handle payment collections, assist with repossessions when approved, and support store operations with general maintenance and customer

Qualifications

Six months in distribution or warehouse environment.
Six months in payment collections or general office procedures.
Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsabilités

Confer with customers by telephone to determine reason for overdue payment and review terms.
Document all correspondence with customers regarding accounts.
Receive payments and post amounts to customer accounts.
Travel to customers’ homes to collect late payments and assist with repossessions when needed.
Prepare paperwork for legal action against severely late-paying customers.
Log daily, weekly, and monthly work activities.
Operate office equipment and basic software; use word processing and spreadsheets.
Ensure safe vehicle operation and assist delivery drivers in unloading.
Load trucks for daily deliveries and unload at customer locations.
Record deliveries and submit records to management; maintain vehicle maintenance logs.
