Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in the US Petcare Division to drive sales within a defined territory. The role is field-based, requires travel, and some evenings for educational programs.

Candidates should live within the territory and have a BS/BA and 3–10 years of consultative sales experience. The successful candidate will use solution selling, territory management, and business planning to maximize sales performance while maintaining Zoetis standards of integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3–10 years of consultative sales experience.
• Animal Health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products via demand generation within targeted geography.
• Successfully launch new products and generate new equipment leads.
• Consistently demonstrate Solution Selling capabilities.
• Build and demonstrate veterinary practice expertise and strong communication with hospitals and personnel.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / Resource Allocation to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations including sales call activity and investment in medical education programs.
• Develop and execute a call-cycle at the account and veterinarian level to deliver reach/frequency expectations.
• Interact with Zoetis colleagues professionally, meeting standards on integrity/compliance, conduct, and teamwork.
