Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to serve a portfolio of multi-family housing accounts in Georgia. You will sell MRO supplies and related products, build meaningful relationships with key decision makers, and drive profitable sales growth through prospecting, retaining, and expanding current customers.

The role requires 4+ years of B2B field sales, proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, and the ability to travel as needed with a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• 4+ or more years B2B field sales experience.
• Must be bilingual Spanish / English.
• Direct sales to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers is a plus.
• Expert rapport-building abilities.
• Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers.
• Operate a Personal Vehicle and travel as needed (>20% of week).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of an organization.
• Manage sales volume with existing customers, while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Share market insights and competitor information across relevant channels.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs for sales strategies.
• Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in events as necessary.
• Demonstrates data analysis techniques to resolve missing/incomplete information and anomalies.
• Work review typically by a supervisor or direct customers.
• May provide guidance or train junior personnel.
• Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and 2-4 years of related experience.
