Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing is seeking a driven Business Consultant in Michigan to identify and close new business opportunities. This outside-sales role requires regular client interaction in the field and in-office collaboration.

You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale relationship management, with a strong focus on activity, appointments, and revenue production. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of outside sales experience, exceptional negotiation and presentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in outside sales or similar quota-carrying roles.
• Ability to generate new opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and partnerships.
• Conduct discovery and present customized proposals to executives.
• Negotiate terms and close deals; manage client implementation and ongoing relationship.
• Track activity and forecast using CRM.
