Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to educate healthcare providers on payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and patient support programs to ensure timely access to therapy.

The role involves building relationships with hospitals, ID physicians, pharmacists, and case management teams, traveling up to 60–80% to support patient access in both inpatient and outpatient settings while maintaining compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or healthcare-related) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of overall healthcare industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital, payer, reimbursement, or related settings.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Field Access Manager or equivalent role directly supporting patient access.
• Demonstrated experience educating HCPs on coding, reimbursement and patient access processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of payer policy and coverage criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Direct experience supporting patient access through transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Market Access.
• Willingness to travel 60–80%.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in access, coding, coverage, and reimbursement for assigned products within geography.
• Educate HCPs on the access process and available resources to support patients.
• Build relationships with infectious disease physicians, hospital teams, discharge planners, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support for access questions regarding benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, and financial assistance.
• Partner with HUB/Patient Services to support the patient journey from enrollment through therapy initiation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Market Access, and Patient Support to provide integrated, compliant support.
• Use analytics dashboards to identify reimbursement challenges and monitor access trends.
• Maintain detailed, timely CRM documentation of field activities and interactions.
• Monitor local and national access trends, payer policy changes, and emerging challenges.
• Participate in team meetings and regional or national sales meetings.
