Job summary

Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to educate providers on payer requirements, navigate reimbursement, and support patient access for infectious disease therapies.

The role involves building relationships with hospitals, ID physicians, pharmacists, and HUB teams, traveling 60-80% to cover the geography, with a base salary in the $190k–$210k range and bonus/equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or healthcare-related advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare with pharma, biotech, specialty pharmacy, hospital, payer, reimbursement, patient services, nursing, or related settings.
• Minimum 3 years in Field Access Manager or equivalent field-based role supporting patient access.
• Experience educating providers on coding, reimbursement and patient access processes.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer policies.
• Experience supporting patient access across inpatient/outpatient transitions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Market Access; travel 60–80%.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME in access, coding, coverage, and reimbursement for assigned products in geography.
• Educates HCPs on access processes and available resources.
• Builds relationships with infectious disease physicians, hospital teams, discharge planners, pharmacists, and others.
• Provides support for benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, and financial assistance.
• Partners with HUB/Patient Services to support the patient journey from enrollment through therapy initiation.
• Collaborates with Sales, Market Access, and Patient Support to enhance customer experience while complying with policies.
• Uses analytics dashboards to identify reimbursement challenges and monitor access experience.
• Maintains detailed, timely CRM documentation of field activities and interactions.
• Monitors payer policy changes and regional access trends; participates in meetings and trainings.
