Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on insurance and reimbursement for specialty medications. You will resolve access barriers and serve as a liaison among providers, pharmacies, payers, and the client.

You will travel weekly within a designated territory to deliver education, address coverage issues, and support patient access, ensuring patients obtain necessary medications while navigating payer policies and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Prior Authorization Certified Specialist (PACS) within six months.
• Experience in healthcare resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and their staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.
• Educate staff on payers’ coverage management strategies, coding and prior authorization processes.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites.
