Job summary

Ardelyx is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support patient access for our gastroenterology portfolio. You will apply account management, data analytics, and reimbursement expertise to execute territory plans and navigate payer processes.

You will collaborate with Field Sales and internal partners to educate on prior authorization, appeals, and denials, and proactively address access barriers across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6–9 years in field reimbursement or related roles.
• Extensive knowledge of medication access channels and payor processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• GI products or providers experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with Patient Services, Field Sales, and Healthcare Providers to support patient access.
• Aid HCPs with education on prior authorization, appeals, and denials.
• Review patient-specific information when sites request assistance resolving coverage issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and address patient and HCP access barriers; implement updates based on solutions.
• Utilize HUB and specialty pharmacy partners to remove access barriers.
• Monitor patient start trends in geographies/plans and address challenges with Field Sales and Partners.
• Maintain knowledge of national, regional, local market dynamics for payors and prescribers; know HUB channels.
• Serve as SME on education and insights on access and affordability across payer types.
• Adapt to changing healthcare ecosystem to customize resourcing and messaging to HCPs and staff.
