Job summary

Ardelyx is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on redefining treatment approaches for patients with significant unmet medical needs. The Field Reimbursement Manager will support patient access by leveraging account management, data analytics, and reimbursement expertise across gastroenterology.

The FRM collaborates with Field Sales and internal stakeholders to serve as access and reimbursement experts for assigned geographies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 6–9 years in field reimbursement or related pharma roles.
• 3–5 years experience as a field reimbursement manager in pharma or healthcare.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part D, commercial and Medicaid benefits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Patient Services, Field Sales, and providers to support patient access.
• Aid HCPs with education on prior authorization, appeals, and denials.
• Review patient-specific information for coverage challenges and assist as needed.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify barriers; implement updates to address them.
• Utilize HUB and specialty pharmacy partners to ensure access barriers are removed.
• Monitor patient start trends and address challenges with Field Sales and Partners.
• Maintain knowledge of payors, market dynamics, and distribution channels.
• Serve as SME on access and affordability across payer types and plans.
