Job summary

Ardelyx is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support patient access for our gastroenterology products. You will leverage account management, data analytics, and reimbursement expertise to enable timely access, collaborating with Field Sales and internal stakeholders to drive access across geographies.

The role involves navigating payer processes, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs, with up to 75% travel in the field.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6–9 years in field reimbursement or related pharma/biotech roles.
• 3–5 years as a field reimbursement manager in public or private settings.
• Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy, payor processes, and affordability programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Patient Services, Field Sales, and Healthcare Providers to support patient access.
• Aid HCPs with prior authorization, appeals, and denials.
• Review patient-specific information when sites request assistance with coverage challenges.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders to address access barriers and implement solutions.
• Utilize HUB and specialty pharmacy partners to ensure patient access barriers are removed.
• Monitor patient start trends and collaborate to mitigate challenges.
• Maintain knowledge of payor dynamics and distribution channels for patient needs.
• Serve as SME on access and affordability across payer types.
