Job summary

Ardelyx is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support patient access for gastroenterology products. The role combines account management, data analytics, and reimbursement expertise to optimize access and navigate payer programs.

You will partner with Field Sales and Patient Services to ensure timely access across assigned geographies. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of medication access channels, experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial plans, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6–9 years in field reimbursement, patient services, market access, or related pharma/biotech roles.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part D, commercial and Medicaid; familiarity with insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Patient Services, Field Sales, and Healthcare Providers to support patient access.
• Assist HCPs with prior authorizations, appeals, and denials education.
• Review patient information to resolve coverage challenges when needed.
• Identify and address payer access barriers by coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
• Leverage HUB and specialty pharmacy partners to remove access barriers.
• Monitor regional payer dynamics and collaborate with Field Sales to mitigate challenges.
• Maintain knowledge of payor markets and distribution channels for patient needs.
• Serve as SME on access and affordability across multiple payer types.
