Job summary

Ardelyx is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support patient access across gastroenterology products. You will combine account management, data analytics, and reimbursement expertise to enable timely access, collaborate with Field Sales and Patient Services, and navigate payer workflows.

This full-time role requires 6–9 years in field reimbursement, strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial plans, and exceptional communication with providers.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree with 6–9 years’ experience in field reimbursement or related pharma roles.
• 3–5 years as a field reimbursement manager in public or private field reimbursement or access services, healthcare operations, and/or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of medication access channels and payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with Patient Services, Field Sales, and providers to support patient access.
• Assist HCPs with prior authorizations, appeals, and denials.
• Identify and address patient access barriers with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HUB and specialty pharmacies to remove access barriers.
• Monitor regional payer dynamics and patient start trends; adapt strategies.
