Job summary

Agios Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic AD, Field Access Manager to join our team. This field-based role focuses on ensuring patient access to Agios therapies by navigating payer policies, PA criteria, and specialty pharmacy pathways.

You will work with hematology centers, patient services, and partners to resolve access barriers, educate providers, and monitor policy changes. Travel within the assigned region is required as needed, and a commitment to compliant, patient-centered access is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in field-based roles with provider offices or patient support HUB.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefit access pathways including PBM/health plan coverage decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities across a territory.
• Proficiency with CRM and case management/documentation tools (or similar systems).
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional expert on payer coverage policies for Agios products.
• Educate stakeholders on PBM access processes to reduce time to therapy.
• Establish relationships with regional hematology centers and practices.
• Coordinate with Patient Services on case escalations and documentation.
• Collaborate with Specialty Pharmacy and National Accounts teams on access issues.
• Monitor policy changes and share field insights for tool deployment.
• Communicate payer policy changes and access trends to inform training.
• Document activities and protect patient information.
