Job summary

Agios Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic Patient Support Manager to join our Market Access team. You will provide reimbursement support, adherence support, and connect patients to resources while building trusted relationships throughout their treatment journey.

Location not fixed: Location Agnostic—remote in the US or hybrid at our Cambridge Headquarters. You’ll collaborate with field-based and home-office teams to deliver a unified patient access program and support brand strategy.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in patient services or market access in healthcare/pharma.
Experience with private payer, Medicare Part D, Medicaid reimbursement processes.
Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Support patient access by providing reimbursement guidance and adherence support.
Build and maintain relationships with patients, caregivers, families, and HCPs to address access barriers.
Collaborate with field-based and home-office teams to unify patient access efforts and brand strategy.
Deliver an exceptional patient experience by assessing needs and addressing barriers to treatment initiation and continuity.
Assist patients in connecting with other patients and representing Agios at events and ambassador programs.
Share reimbursement knowledge with customers and internal teams using CRM and data analysis.
