Flylock Security Solutions Oakland is seeking an Access Control Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial and residential access and video systems. This hands-on role requires teamwork and the ability to work independently on-site.

Ideal candidates have locksmithing knowledge and at least 2 years of field experience in security solutions, with the ability to learn new techniques and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on field experience in security solutions and access control.
• Inspects, installs, and services basic and complex access systems for commercial and residential settings.
• Able to troubleshoot and perform programming, testing, and equipment mounting per specs.
• Educates customers on system operation and available features.
• Responds to customer questions, recommends corrective services, and manages issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, installs, and services access and video systems for sites.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting and programming tasks.
• Instructs customers on operation and features of systems.
• Maintains project records from site walk-through to hand-off.
• Leads onsite projects and coordinates with technicians and subcontractors.
• Represents the company professionally with customers and sales staff.
