Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Bender I for the 3rd shift in Pueblo, CO. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will ensure quality and quantity of fiberglass elbows while following ATIRE safety standards.

Responsibilities include production planning, equipment operation, precise bending, cutting, and sanding when needed, keeping detailed records, and performing changeovers. The role is on-site with competitive pay and benefits, including medical and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of prior shop experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Attention to detail and strong time management.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Confirm product with schedule and locate inventory.
• Attain targeted and planned production levels on the equipment.
• Communicate plan with Bender Helper for the shift.
• Initiate accurate bending, cutting, and sanding when needed.
• Keep production records including quantity bent, scrap rates and oven time/temperature.
• Final inspection of angle, label, and sanding as necessary.
• Perform changeovers with some assistance.
• Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Perform other tasks appointed by management.
