Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Winder I for the 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) in Pueblo, CO. The role focuses on producing fiberglass conduit with attention to quality and efficiency, following ATIRE protocols.

You will determine roving, verify winding programs, load mandrels, and ensure correct OD and wind patterns while maintaining accurate records. The position requires safety adherence and the ability to lift 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of shop experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Willing to wear PPE and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Determine roving quantity and type for scheduled product.
• Verify winding program and loaded mandrels in equipment.
• Maintain mandrel seals and resin bath handling.
• Wind conduit mandrels and verify OD, angle, and patterns.
• Keep accurate production records and monitor quality.
• Assist with changeovers and perform basic maintenance.
• Adhere to shutdown and cleaning procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
