Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Sawyer I – 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) in Pueblo, Colorado. The role supports the winder operator, ensures quality and accurate finishing of fiberglass conduit, and follows ATIRE protocols. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and about two years of shop experience. Strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift 50 pounds are essential. PPE and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of shop experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good understanding of math for quick counting, calculations and measurements.
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist the winder operator to maximize winding equipment up time.
• Receive product from the extractor and cut ends per specifications.
• Prepare pipe samples for quality control testing.
• Perform final inspection both dimensional and visual per standards.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records including crating and labeling.
