Job summary

Goldshield, located in Decatur, Indiana, is seeking a Sander to prepare fiberglass parts for primer and paint, sand gelcoat surfaces, maintain tools, and support production while meeting quality standards.

You will join a Terex-affiliated operation with day-one benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime as needed; prior sanding/production experience preferred, HS diploma or GED preferred, and drug/background screening required.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-year experience in sanding, fiberglass, paint prep, finishing, manufacturing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while preparing fiberglass surfaces.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work well with other employees.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Sanding gelcoat surfaces to prepare parts for primer and paint application.
• Performing sanding duties while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, materials, and supplies with minimal scrap.
• Following housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
• Supporting production needs across the sanding area when assigned.
