Hardy Industries is seeking skilled Fiber Testing and Splicing Technicians to support our national client base. You may perform fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and fault identification while working across multiple environments.

This is a 1099 contractor role with on-site duties and travel within a defined territory. The ideal candidate will have fiber testing experience, be able to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and hold or be working toward relevant fiber/IT certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Fiber optic testing and troubleshooting experience is required.
• Experience with OTDRs, power meters, light sources, and certification equipment.
• Understanding of single-mode and multi-mode fiber systems.

Aufgaben

• Perform fiber optic testing and splicing across diverse environments.
• OTDR testing, power meter testing, light source testing, and certification.
• Install, terminate, and test fiber cabling; identify impairments and document results.
• Travel within coverage territory; work on-site as a 1099 contractor.
