Job summary

Hardy Industries is seeking skilled Fiber Testing and Splicing Technicians to support our national client base. The role involves testing, splicing, fault finding, and infrastructure work across diverse environments, from retail to data centers.

You will handle OTDR, power meter testing, and fiber certification tasks while maintaining precise records. The position is a 1099 contractor role, with on-site pay and travel compensation within an 80-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Fiber optic testing and troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with OTDRs, power meters, light sources, fiber certification equipment, and visual fault locators.
• Understanding of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of fiber optic and technical tasks including testing and splicing.
• OTDR testing, power meter testing, light source testing, and fiber certification.
• Documentation of test results, splicing records, and project deliverables.
• Work independently across various environments including retail, medical, and data centers.
