Job summary

Swyft Fiber in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Combination Technician to install, maintain and repair residential and business telecom services including telephone, internet, video, wireless, DSL and fiber (FTTH). You will work with field equipment and coordinate with teams to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires diagnosing issues with testing gear, performing on-site service calls, and adhering to FCC/CPNI rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecommunications installation, maintenance and repair.
• Able to diagnose issues with testing equipment and methods.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of time management and working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify residential and business telecom services.
• Operate customer premises equipment and field systems with safety and accuracy.
• Respond to trouble reports, perform service calls, and resolve issues promptly.
• Document work orders, tests, and FCC/CPNI compliance in company systems.
